The sculpture serves as a focal point for the first floor living, dining and kitchen areas as well as the fron the entryway into the home. The work is composed of tempered curvilincar plate glass with polished edges and rectangular dichroic glass elements that form a vertical zig zag form that is supported by the curved plate glass elements that weave around the vertical dichroic elements.
The composition is expressed as a dynamic relationship between the rectilinear and the curvilinear glass forms, with the rectilinear dichroic forms establishing a visually rigid core with the curvilinear plate glass elements seemingly to weave through the dichroic forms. In actuality it is the plate glass woven forms that are serving as the primary vertical support. While the dichroic forms end at the ceiling, the woven curvilinear forms extend beyond the ceiling to the underside of the skylight.
