In planning for the glass shower enclosure in the master bedroom, Muhammed had expressed an interest in something of natural form. From this I developed a pattern of broad gesture strokes like the Foxtail Buffalo Grass of South Africa, which was translated into glass with textural gestures and fused green glass frit. The background of the glass was softly textured to provide some privacy but also a sense of openness.
